Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
The 19th Congress of Medical Biology and Genetics will be held between October 27–30, 2025, at La Blanche Island Hotel in Bodrum. Organized with international participation, our congress is one of the most established and significant events in the field of Medical Biology and Genetics, hosted by our association.
Since the foundation of our association, this congress has been organized regularly and continues to be a scientifically and socially enriching event. Our national congress, organized by our association with nearly 1,500 members, has shown continuous growth both in terms of the number of presentations and participants.
At this year’s congress, we are organizing the “Prof. Dr. Asım Cenani Young Researcher Award” in memory of Prof. Dr. Asım Cenani, the founder of the Department of Medical Biological Sciences at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and GETAM, and a distinguished mentor to many, whom we sadly lost in 2020 due to COVID-19. Alongside this award, as in all previous congresses, the “Prof. Dr. Altan Günalp Research Award”, named after one of the founding figures of our field, will also be presented at our 19th congress.
In our congress, which has been a long-standing tradition, we will also celebrate the Republic Day on October 29 together with you, our esteemed colleagues, while engaging in discussions on significant and emerging topics in the field of Medical Biology and Genetics with broad participation.
It is my honor to invite you to our congress, and I sincerely hope to meet you between October 27–30, 2025, at an event enriched with a highly satisfying scientific program.
Sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Turgut Ulutin
President of the Association of Medical Biology and Genetics and Congress Chair
